Wing Span 42-46 mm. Male UN dark olive-brown. FW with 6 small, semi-diaphonous, yellowish- continuous white spots. 1^st 2 spots in this series are sub-apical rest of 4 spots are inwardly oblique, with one spot in each interspace 4, 3 and 2 – with the spot in 2 being a little larger than the others, and the fourth spot usually being obscure, small, whitish. HW without marking.
