Description
It’s a black and white hornbill with a whitish yellow bill and helmet. It’s body is black with white belly,facial patch, wing and tail edges. Sexes are alike, males have larger helmet.
It mainly feeds on wild fruits like figs, berries, palm fruit, papaya, large insects, small birds, small reptiles, frogs, fish etc.
They are found throughout Indian Subcontinent and southeast Asia.
